Following the launch of MARIA.B.’s pioneering Pashmina and Premium Luxury Linen 2014 collections, the designer label is set to showcase a new collection of bridal wear at the Bridal Couture Week 2014 on 11th December 2014. MARIA.B.’s La Roseraie, which translates to the Rose Garden, is a dreamy, feminine collection inspired by 18th Century France. The collection is predominantly based in a colour palette consisting of pastels but also features a selection of ensembles in monochrome shades. Expect luxe fabrics such as organza, nets and silks in elegant, European cuts and modern silhouettes comprising of long gowns, short shirts, skirts, crop tops, short body jackets and cigarette pants. The designer has employed the innovative use of digital prints, motifs and embellishments to impart a feeling of nostalgia and a vintage aesthetic to the collection.
Speaking about her brand’s collection at BCW2014, Maria Butt, CEO MARIA.B. said, “Everything about our new collection has an element of nostalgia associated with it. While the collection itself is very feminine, there are dark gothic elements to some of the pieces, which synergise well with the other ensembles to come together as a story, which ultimately forms The Rose Garden. I look forward to showcasing the collection at BCW 2014 this year!”
